How To Stay Positive

Everyone wants to feel as though they are making their lives better by the thoughts that occupy their mind. Everyone wants to be better. Everyone wants to do better. Almost everyone wants to be positive. How does a person stay positive when they are surrounded by negative influences?

There are 4 things you can do to stay positive so that no matter what is going on in your life, you will always be positive. You can stay positive by knowing who you are, having a goal, staying focused, and by be grateful.


Know Who You Are

Knowing who you are determines what your purpose is. If your purpose is to be helpful to others, then you know that you are a helpful person and only want to be surrounded by people who either A: needs your help; B: Wants to be helped; C:respects that you are helpful. It works the same way with being positive. You are positive. You want to be around people who are positive, and you only think positive thoughts.

You must know your strengths and weaknesses. Knowing your strengths and weakness will help you be able to present the best side of yourself and leave out the side of yourself that you still have to work on. Know what you love. If you do not know what you love, focus on what you value the most. You can also focus on the people, place, things that you love or value the most. Doing this helps you stay in a good mood at all times no matter where you are or what you are doing.

Have A Goal

Being that we are talking about being positive in this article, we are going to use being positive as a goal. When your goal is to be positive, you will find that people, things, and circumstances around you are positive. If you wake up in the morning and affirm to yourself, "I am a positive person. I wake up each morning with positive thoughts. I attract only positive people. I attract all good things to me. Today is going to be a good day!", then it is only right that you will feel this way and find that you are in alignment with what you are thinking. So your goal every morning should be to think, feel, and be positive.

Staying Focused

Some of us would like to believe that we can change the way other's think by trying to force them to believe in the things that we believe in. When we realize we do not have to do this and by just staying focused on ourselves, we will find that other people start to see things our way much better than if we have argued with them.

Staying focused on being positive is very simple. All you must do is think good thoughts. Feel the positive energy flowing through your body as rays of sunlight. I like to associate the sun with positivity because the sun is the center. The sun lights the world and it puts virtually anyone in a good mood. You can use the sun as the center point of feeling positive, or you can use anything that will put you in that good feeling place.

Be Grateful

Staying positive can be difficult sometimes, but with practice, you will be able to stay positive at all times no matter what is going on around you. You will be emitting positive energy so much that all you will focus on is all the good in your life. Being grateful for things no matter how bad they seem is a sure fire way to stay positive.

When you are grateful for all the wonderful things in your life, you are telling God/The Universe that you love wonderful things and it's only right that God/The Universe delivers you more wonderful experiences. On another note, if you only focused on all the bad things in your life, you will only attraction more bad things in your life. The key to getting more good things in your life is to be thankful for the good that you already have in your life.


Using these step of skills will not only ensure that you'll stay positive, but it will make you feel better about life as a whole and will lead you to a life full of love, happiness & positive bliss!
